Wine
Boireann Shiraz is grown in the finely decomposed granite soils of the estate's high altitude vineyard in the Granite Belt, Queensland.
Traditional winemaking methods prevail at the winery. The fruit is hand harvested, crushed and open fermented on skins. Maturation occurs in new and seasoned French oak barrels for around 12 months.
Deep red, Boireann Shiraz is medium bodied with subtle oak and soft tannins. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
